Touch ‘n Go wins top accolades at Graduates’ Choice Awards and HR Excellence Awards

TOUCH ‘n Go Group received top honours as the Most Preferred Graduate Employer in the Fintech Category for the second consecutive year at the recent 6th Graduates’ Choice Awards.

It was also recognised as one of the Top 25 Most Preferred Graduate Employers Overall, moving up from 23rd place last year to an impressive 16th this year.

The Graduates’ Choice Awards stands out as Malaysia’s most authoritative graduate employer brand awards as the results are determined solely by votes from Malaysian university students.

It represents the largest consensus of young Malaysian voices, accurately capturing their future employment preferences from a variety of aspects, including the most preferred employer.

According to Touch ‘n Go chief human resource officer Erlny Greiss, the Graduates’ Choice Awards are based on a 100% vote by university students, and this highlighted the excellence and innovation the company has brought to attracting and retaining top graduate talent.

“We are honoured to be distinguished in the fintech landscape among the diverse industries nominated for the award,” Greiss said.

“This recognition would not have been possible without the dedication, passion, and teamwork of our incredible team. Moments like these inspire us to continue creating a workplace environment where talent thrives.”

Adding another feather to its cap, Touch ‘n Go Group was also awarded the Excellence in Work-Life Harmony award and nominated as a finalist in four different categories at the 11th Annual HR Excellence Awards in its first year of participation, reflecting its commitment and dedication to excellence.

The HR Excellence Awards is Malaysia’s premier recognition platform that celebrates outstanding achievement and innovation in the field of human resource management.

This esteemed event showcases Human Resources (HR) strategies, policies, and initiatives that have significantly contributed to improving employee engagement, organisational performance, and overall business success.

“At Touch ‘n Go, we strive to build a nurturing workplace environment that supports both professional growth and a healthy work-life balance, which has been acknowledged through the Excellence in Work-Life Harmony award,” Greiss remarked.

“This recognition further affirms the HR role and commitment in Touch ‘n Go to driving meaningful change, fostering employee development, and cultivating a thriving workplace culture besides managing policies and procedures.”

These accolades acknowledge Touch ‘n Go’s dedication to embedding its core values of Love, Entrepreneurship, Agility, and Passion (LEAP) as part of its employee DNA, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and shared values.

As an extension to this, the Group introduced O-LEAP-ICS, an initiative designed to nurture the well-being of its employees physically and mentally.

O-LEAP-ICS includes a series of team activities aimed at encouraging bonding and collaboration among employees, creating a stronger sense of belonging within the organisation.

The company has also been actively promoting employee well-being by conducting webinars and workshops that address employees’ state of mind, ensuring a harmonious work-life balance.

Emphasising the significance of these initiatives, Greiss said the company’s commitment to embedding their core values into the fabric of the organisation had been the driving force behind the company’s success.

“We are positioned as an innovator and technology leader, and this helps to create an initial interest and desire in tech-savvy professionals seeking dynamic workplaces,” she added.
